Wwoofing at Podere Le Fornaci
Would you like to live in the countryside for period of time and work with us?
Podere le Fornaci is a farm and dairy with a small flock of Chamois Colored goats but above all we are a hospitable and active participant of the local area. We also have a vegetable garden, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats.
We welcome cheerful and capable people to help us manage the hospitality and experiences we offer to Italian and international guests and tourists.
What to expect in wwoofer work?
- Cleaning out and running the goat shed
- Taking our little flock out to pasture

Transport connections and territory
We are 30 minutes from the Firenze Impruneta highway exit. In addition, thanks to its proximity to the provincial road and the bus stop, the farm is well connected to:
Greve in Chianti, reachable with a walk of about 20 minutes
Florence, easily reached by car in 40 minutes
Siena, reachable in 50 minutes by car
Villa Calcinaia, steps away
The Verrazzano Castle, a few kilometers away
Accommodation
We host a maximum of two WWOOFers at a time for a period of no more than three weeks/1 month. The accommodation is in a caravan with an adjoining wooden hut. Lunch will be eaten, whenever possible together with us members Valentina and Nicolò. The food will be mainly vegetarian with a moderate consumption of meat and wine. We speak Italian and English.
