Come and eat at the farm!

The kitchen of Podere Le Fornaci opens its doors! Make a reservation to organize dinners, lunches, graduations, birthdays, and more. Whatever your occasion, we will provide you with a chef and all the farm space available to you.

We offer customized menus with local seasonal products picked directly from our garden and dairy from our goats or from the friendly network of local farmers. 

Furthermore, the restaurant and any of our fields are available to play music or spend part of the day with friends or family. Musicians are more than welcome to bring instruments!

Homemade BREAD and pasta

For us, the quality of the food we offer customers is important, as well as knowing where all of our ingredients come from. 

We only source local flour purchased from certified mills that produce grain with less environmental impact and a low gluten content.

Why come to eat with us?

  • The Podere is a welcoming, intimate and familiar place. By eating with us you will not only spend a wonderful day eating healthy food, but you will also help a small local business survive and continue to take care of this small piece of Greve land!

  • If you have children, they will be able to run and play around the farm, while respecting the animals and plants that grow here. 

  • In addition to lunch, you can spend an afternoon or evening away from the frenzy and urban traffic enjoying the colours, sounds and scents of the countryside.

  • You will have direct contact with us, Valentina and/or Nicolò who, in addition to welcoming you into our space, will be at your disposal to tell you about our work and our story.

  • If you come for lunch and in the afternoon, you will be able to meet our goats and, if you want, spend more time to interact with them.

FAQ Frequently asked questions

Potentially we are open every day, however since there are only two of us, we have to balance agricultural life and hospitality well so we can only take a few dates each week. In the spring and autumn months we recommend booking well in advance especially if you want to come on the weekend.

The minimum number of people to make a reservation is 8-10. During the summer, our max capacity is 30 people. In case of bad weather or winter time, out max capacity is 18 people.

€40-45 per person. Included in the price is: Cheese tasting presentation from the farm, a visit to the stable if desired, fresh pasta and ravioli first courses (sauces and ravioli fillings vary based on the seasonal availability and of farmer’s markets) vegetarian second courses based on the season. Mixed salad (from the garden though, not the one in the bag!), craft beer, local organic wine, and dessert of your choice. 

If You cancel: 

  • Within 72+ hours prior to the tasting, i.e. max 3 days before, with full refund.
  • Or within 48 hours prior to the tasting, i.e. max 2 days before, paying 50% of the fee.
  • Or within 24 hours, i.e. the day before, paying the entire fee in any case.

All activities are accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, we would like to point out that, being in the countryside, there will be mud in case of rain. We ask you to let us know of any disabilities the day before so that we can best organize the activity together.
